Membership application

This is the only official way to apply for KSF membership. It takes about five minutes.

What happens next

The committee members responsible for membership review your application. Once approved, we confirm by email and issue your membership ID card.

Your application is sent securely to our membership team and is not stored on this website. Only the committee members who handle membership can see it. See our Privacy Policy.

1 · Membership type

Choose Individual if you are joining as yourself. Choose Organisation if you are applying for a group, charity or company. The questions below change to match your choice.

2 · Your details

The organisation's full official name.

If the organisation is a registered charity or company, enter its number. Leave this empty if it does not have one.

The one person authorised to act for the organisation within KSF. We will contact this person about the application.

Your first name and surname, as you would like them to appear on your membership card.

We need this to confirm you are 18 or over, as our Constitution requires. Pick the date from the calendar, or type it in the order shown in the box.

We use this to reply about your application, so check it is spelled correctly. You only receive news if you tick the newsletter box in the Declaration section.

Your town or your postcode is enough. We do not ask for your street address.

A clear, recent photo of your face for your membership ID card, like a passport photo: facing the camera, plain light background, no sunglasses or hat (religious head coverings are fine). JPG or PNG, at least 300 × 300 pixels. For an organisation, upload a photo of the authorised representative. Only the committee members who handle membership see it, and it is printed on your card.

Our Constitution (Article 8) requires individual members to be 18 or over.
